Number of Carnatic music concerts in a year

This topic is only little statistical in nature.Who is giving the maximum number of concerts in one calendar year?
The artists who give large number of concerts in a year are popular and attract large audience.The attendance is one of the important factors for organisers and sponsors.

My list is:

Sanjay Subramanyam -There is no major festival of carnatic music without Sanjay.In Bangalore the Bangalore Gayana Samaja,Nadaranjini sabha,SRLk,Gokhulastami series Malleswaram and by Unnati regularly feature him.There is also Sri Rama Seva Mandali.

Ranjani -Gayatri-Similar will be the number very close to sanjay

Malladi Bros

TM Krishna

Sudha Raghunathan

I think these five artists steal the show.

Like cricket and horses, somebody should issue a little book, or perhaps there should be a column in The Hindu arts and music supplement. Then we really could study "the form"

Our individual views are going to be coloured by the artists that we see ourselves, but I don't think that your names would actually come at the top of this list

Perhaps, but for every major festival, there are a dozen small sabhas, and Sanjay, Malladi Bros, TMK, Sudha, etc may not figure in their listings at all

At least in one Sabha, Sudha figures in the listing day in and day out.

I am of course referring to Raga Sudha Hall.

@hnbhagavan, Actually the max. no of concerts should go to accompanists -- I know some of them who are not yet in the big crowds list, but still upcoming talents, and even they have spoken about performing as many as three or FOUR (!!) concerts in a day.

Especially during the season. So many of them out there, but all busy at all times! Saying it from personal experience:)

It is true that accompanists especially in Chennai season play 3 to 4 concerts in a day.Some of the festivals also to minimize expenses employ same accompaniments.
But my list is with respect to main performers.
Though NickH says there are smaller sabhas ,but they generally do not repeat artists as main sabhas do.
