An wholesome concert (ஜனரஞ்சகமான கச்சேரி )– covering all aspects of day, the lovely neighbouring Ganesh Temple , location of Nanganallur where Shakti rules and the overflowing audience pulse.
He started off with a lovely Thirupaavai in Kambhoji and noting it was Tuesday he came with lovely Suratti (Angarakam ashrayami) and followed it with a wonderful Anandabhairavi on Shakti composed by Shyama Shastri. He made the audience tap their foot with lovely kaapi naaraayaNi and aabhEri (The aabhEri still ringing in my ears). He paid his musical tribute to neighbouring Lord Ganesa by singing Sharanu sharanu (Purandara Dasa)
But the best part of the evening was his class Purvikalyani (Main Krithi ) with (kanakAmbaradhara karuNAnvitavara – neraval) proving he is master of nerval in this field.
Both Bhardwaj and M Vijay gave wonderful support in the entire concert.

While I have no answer to your first query - as far Nagumomu is concerned neither there were swaras nor there was nerval. But it was just fantastic. a real treat to listen
