Chayanat is a diamond polished by those masters for decades . Nissar Husian Khan ,Hafiz Ahmed Khan , Ghulam Mustafa Khan , Rashid Khan and their likes . Plenty on internet

If I am not mistaken, Kumar P Mukherjee was the MD of Coal India and a disciple of Abdul Karim Khan! I had attended a concert of Pandit Ramrao Naik in his house in Calcutta in 1974.

The raaga is Vallabhi or Vallavi, created by BMK. I think he has sung this composition in the same raaga as well.
