Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer Trust Annual Awards 2015 & Annual Music Festival

Maharajapuram Viswantha Iyer Trust will be presenting the ‘MAHARAJAPURAM VISWANTHA IYER MEMORIAL AWARD’ to Violin Vidwan Sri M. Subramonia Sarma and Mridangam Vidwan Sri Kamalakar Rao at 5 P.M. on 28th November , 2015 at Gokhale Sastry Institute ,Karpagambal Nagar, Chennai 4.

Also Senior Musicians Adyar Sri Jayaraman, Peri Sri Sriramamurthy and Manikkudi Sri Chandrasekaran are to be honoured with ‘Senior Musicians’Award’

The Youth Awards for excellence go to Smt K Gayathri, Sri M.S. Ananthakrishnan and Kumbakonam Sri Swaminathan.

Dr. Va. Ve. Subramanyam Presides. Maharajapuram Sri S. Srinivasan presents the awards & felicitates the awardees.

A number of young budding Vidwans and Senior musicians will be performing in the music festival from 28th to 30th November , 2015 .
