Wonderful melodious concert, an all tyagaraja fare barring the devaranama by the eponymous singer. A listener requested him to sing sakala graha bala neene and he said he could not recall the lyrics as he did not sing it in the recent past. He instead sang tirupathi venkata ramana. He might have made it an all out tyagaraja fare (not complaining at all, it was wonderful) but for this request.
A couple of years back, on a summer rainy evening he sang a delightful kapi alapana and followed it with intha soukhya at seshadripuram rama seva mandali. A few years earlier to that at the same venue he sang a memorable suruti alapana and followed it with geetharthamu. I expected him to sing these two krithis when he started Kapi and suruti alapanas but i heard two new krithis (for me) in these beautiful raagas. H K Venkataram's accompaniment particularly in the alapanas was top class.

He gave an excellent concert at Premsagar auditorium Dayanand Sagar College. The attendance was very thin, however this does not take away the steady performance by OST.

It was a wonderful evening at Dayananda Sagar Auditorium. Vidwan OST delighted us with Kalyani, Kapi, Kharaharapriya and Todi. The audience was not thin. There would have been around 200 rasikas, but since the hall is so huge, they were scattered across many rows.
Incidentally I would rate this airconditioned hall as amongst the best in terms of seating arrangements (capacity is 1500). acoustics and car parking facilities.
