Wonderful concert. There is no substitute for experience and classicism of masters in carnatic music. As Krishnaprasad Sir mentioned - the right word is "Nemmadi" - can't translate - english has its limitations . Superb auditorium, once they have the elevator it will be even better. As kssr mentioned, it is raining concerts in bangalore, and the crowd was decent given that it is a new place, not exactly known, OST had sung recently in Samaja and with other competing concerts. For once, nice acoustics!! The mridangam was heard so well, and hope Ashok visits Bangalore more often especially coming from the vintage Palani school (Disclosure - I know him personally). The sound mixing was so good - and it is a delight.
When we hear such expansive Thodi, Kapi and Kharaharapriya - one indeed does not miss an RTP. And some exercise to put the jhampa talam The who team gave an wonderful concert for 3 hrs.

Thank u.I attended the concert.Less than 100 people attended such a grand music concert in a good auditorium.auditorium is doing a great service,but Bangalore Rasikas need to get out of Cozy homes and attend the concerts.

I went there at 5.10 and was surprised to see OST already seated on the dais. The violisit joined a little later. I left when he started kapi alapana as the AC was forbidding for me. The weather in Bengaluru is rather chill and that also explains poor turnout. There was also Priya sisters concert in Koramangala at the same time.
