Dear all,

with Guru Chitravina Ravikiran's blessings and guidance, Savita Narasimhan helped kickstart the 1st Oottukkadu Venkata Kavi aradhana in the San Francisco Bay Area in November of 2014.

We are happy to note that after more than 7 years, Savita will be singing again in the Bay Area, presenting a special concert at the 2nd OVK Day, with all Venkata Kavi's compositions of course, which have been brought to light painstakingly by her Guru Chitravina Ravikiran.

She will be accompanied by Rohan Krishnamurthy on the mridangam. Anuradha Sridhar was supposed to accompany on the violin. But due to various reasons, her student Ms. Sruti Sarathy will accompany now.

There is a good line-up of various other programs like Harikatha/Lecdem, Bharatanatyam and ofcourse group Saptaratna singing as well.

Please spread the word around and do attend in large numbers to pay homage to a most prolific of saint-poets Shri Venkata Kavi. Here is a complete information available in the public domain:

And just for the record, Tanapp is a very talented vocalist and disciple of Savita Narasimhan!
