His penultimate concert outside Madras (22nd he is singing in Bangalore) before the December Season kicks in.
When I stepped in Tiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam and Sundar Kumar were playing out a rousing tAni. The earlier
concert was by Carnatica Brothers. I was assured the tAni is going to be a riot since Sunder Kumar was accompanying
for Sanjay too.

The vibrant Thodi varnam set the tone for what to come for next 2+ hours. Kalpana swaras stood out in PSI composition.
By that time Varadu was returning everything effortlessly.

One of the best sAveri in recent times I heard. He was already in his zone and gliding in both octaves and his customary
pidis were falling in place. Eppady manam tunindado was beautifully rendered.

By this time I was kind of satisfied with super sAveri but my excitement grew when he started khambhodi alapana.The next
14+ minutes was pure bliss. Splendid alapana it was. On his concluding sangati 'O O O' signalling what krithi is coming up.
Immediately my mind went back to one of his concert in 2014 Jan at Sastri Hall, Mylapore he sung an hour plus o Rangasayee.
And many started whispering its Srirangam Samprokshanam yesterday and it was nice to sing this krithi. The neraval at
'bhuloka vaikuntam' and the kalpana swaras were brilliant.

The tani was hijacked by Sundar Kumar, outstanding he was while Murugaboopathy was quite deft too.

Could not get the ST krithi and the tillAna and got it checked with him post concert.

In total it was another 'Sanjay Special' and I need to wait for another couple of months since am missing
December Season this year .

Fantastic concert. I loved the Saveri and Neraval Swarams at Bhulokha especially. Thani was nice, I think Kanjira missed count in the first round. The nadam on Murugaboopathy's stood out. Very nice delivery by the team.

Great musical evening !! Enjoyed the music fest of carnatica brothers (Shashikiran KN and Ganesh ji). I enjoyed kumuthakriya raga followed by arthanatheeswaram song and excellent swaras which was matched well by violin , mridhangam and kanjira. It was a great team work and thani was awesome . The program continued with Sanjay Subrahmanyan ji's concert started with era na pai varnam in thodi followed by hamsdhwani, saveri, etc raga and swaras were outstanding . Thani made audience more enthusiastic and the overall concert was superb.

You perhaps left early because I thought Sanjay's kAmbOdi was super spun (having heard several excellent kAmbOdis from Sanjay).

Hope we get to hear Shashikiran and Ganesh's Kumudakriya (any streaming?).
