The second question mark in the LGJ duet was Jayantasena, I believe.

They also played:

9. Chandrasekhara Eesa, Sindhubhairavi
10. Tillana, Bhimplas, LGJ (this particular tillana featured on stage 1st time ever)
11. Mangalam

tillana by LGJ? Interesting a non-LGJ varnam! I have heard rasikapriya RTP by the siblings before. Beautiful!

Was the kadanakuthuhalam varnam a composition of Calcutta Sri KS Krishnamurthy?

What she said was that the tala vinyasam is in chatusra tisram. what i took it to mean is that the tala stays the same chatusram but it becomes 3 aksharas per beat -

madura dipate akhilam maduram6

LGJ school's version of Kakkai Chiraginile is usually in a beautiful Ragamalika sequence starting in raga Durga, moving to Surya, and then finally to Patdeep. I still remember when the siblings rendered it with their father in 2004; it was really quite amazing. The haunting Patdeep portion still echoes in my ears.

Was the same one I believe.

I found krishnan's playing straight & narrow.
