26th Dec 2015
Prabhatha Sangeetham
S.Aishwarya - Vocal
S.Saundarya - Vocal Support.
Dear Rasikas
On 26th Dec, there was a one hour concert of Prabhatha Sangeetham.
The atmosphere was soaked with a divine feeling.
Morning poojas had taken place from 2 30 to 5 30 am.
And from 5 30 am onwards there was this musical offering. The lighting was entirely through oil lamps and no mikes were used.

Divine blessing to attend this concert, I am glad I did. Fortunate to hear Aishwaya sing mikeless and with just tanpura sruthi.

Pantuvarali was grand, and sarasaksha was apt. In Kaa Vaa Vaa, soundarya sang in higher octave, brining fond memories of MS amma and Radha Mami singing similarly.

There were many other gems, like Adumchidambaramo, nagendra haraya, entha marramuna.....

The house is just divine, and concert took place with just oil lamps. Reminding navarathri mandapam ambiance....

Thanks so much for the video, would love to see it again and again. must listen concert.....

Loved the pantuvarALi - such a fluent cascade of sangatis in the alapanai, and I was hoping for sArasAkSa and duly rewarded! And the ambience indeed looks perfect.

Nice to hear Aishwarya sing a capella. The voice is powerful and it was quite sweet to hear.
