Another nice enjoyable concert of Aishwarya, glad that this is my first full concert of new year. The concert was for less than 90 minutes, but get a feeling that it is 2-1/2 hour concert. All credits to Aishwarya. Not easy to sing two neravals and two major ragam detailedly in short duration concert, but Aishwarya handled with aplomb. Naatai keerthana of papanasam sivan was rare, i am hearing first time, it has nice lilting chittaswarams. Lathangi was pick of the concert, in full flow with nice sancharams, brigas. She slowed down concert tempo, rightly so with devagandhari, singing in a perfect kalapramanam. Thodi was all in its splendor, and she sang for about 6 minutes. The swarams of both lathangi and thodi deserve special mention, she did kuraippu around pa, and with nice mathematical patterns, without either overdoing or sacrificing on melody.

For those in this forumn, who are not satisfied with her concert list and claim she sings only MS amma popularized compositions, this is a good concert to listen and enjoy.

Waiting eagerly for Jan 15th function and concerts......................
