Concert is organized as a part of the Tyagaraja Aradhanotsavalu. Rama Garu and team gave a grand finale to the event.

Begada : Such a wonderful sahityam by Tyagaraja swamy. One must listen to the song. Words fail to express the beauty with which the song is presented.
Chandrajyoti : Spell binding is the only word.
Sankarabharanam : Grand. The variations given to the pallavi are awesome. Neraval @ Veda Sastra Tatvarthamu Telisi, Swaram @ Veda Sastra. Daasoham to Sankarabharanam. It will be a long time for me to come out of the charm of the Sankarabharnam that was presented.

Murthy gari's Violin alapanas, returns during neraval and swarams are a delight to listen to. Murthy garu and Somajayula garu gave a wonderful support on Mridangam and Ghatam. A concert which lingers with us for a very long time.

4. Raaka Sasi Vadana - Chandrajyoti (AS)
Sashivadana Bhakthajana vana - is in raga Chandrajyothi. Raaka Sasivadana is in takka ragam. So which one was it that she sang??

Excellent artiste. She has some rare songs in her repertoire. Gattiganu and Mummurthulu are absolutely rare. I would like to know how she sang 'Raka Sasivadana' (if that is what she sang) because no version is correct grammatically, especially the GNB school version, which does not present Takka properly. Especially when you juxtapose it with the SSP version of Dikshitar's composition, 'Sundaramurtim'.

I second vilomachaapu. They start the charanam with panchamam which is totally wrong and it greatly underestmate the greatness of our composer. Older (real) versions confirm with the lakshana given in SSP.
