Raga Kadhanakudhuhalam
During the lec dem on KSK, Sanjay related an observation made by his late Guru that "Kadhanakudhuhalam veena poyuduthu" (Kadhanakudhuhalam is being wasted away). He didn't really expound on this or what precipitated this observation. Any conjectures on this?
PS: I think KSK has composed a varnam in this raga.

It must be KATHANAKUTHOOHALAM - roughly meaning something which is joyous to deal with.

rshankar,
Thanks for the reference.
I think Kadanam means sorrow & kuthuhalam, joy. How to connect both?
