A 3 hour 40 mins concert which picked up after first 3 songs when she was settling down with her voice

No laptop or ipad no notes all straight from heart entralling another full house audience which gave her a standing ovation.

What is the difference between bharavam and Bhairavi if any one can guide in this forum.

Amazing Varali alapanai and shehshachalam with good swarams
Aadiya padam was rendered beautifully

karaharapriya alapana for 20 mins was outstanding followed by soulful rendering and swaram

RTP was another gem brilliant alapana where she effortlessly went from low to high pitch with out any strain in voice and followed by volley of swarams almost in 20 ragas.

The tukkadas were nice .

MAK was brilliant following Nithyashree beautifully .He announced that it was a difficult pallavi which she sang effortlessly.

Thani by Skandasubramanian and Raja ganesh were brillliant.

Another memorable concert from Nithyasree and so happy to see her going back to her original form .

It was so heartening to see nearly 25 kids in the age group of 6 to 15 waiting till 10 15 surrounding Nithyasree taking her blessings and selfies and fotos.

Tomorrow it will be Smt Aruna Sayeeraams day .

Bhairavam is a janya of the 17th melakarta Suryakantam. Bhairavi belongs to the 20th mela. Dikshitar's song in Bhairavam is 'kAla bhairavam. There is also a segment of Bhairavam in his chaturdasa ragamalika.

Nithyashree's RTP, like her Kharaharapriya main, would have been a real treat!

I notice Mumbai audiences seem to be getting elaborate concerts consisting of compositions from such a vast number of composers. For example, this concert took off with Ambi Dikshitar's Varnam, before moving to Thyagaraja's compositions, followed by compositions of M. Dikshitar, Gopalakrishna Bharathi, G. N. Balasubramaniam, Papanasam Sivan, herself(!), Ganam Krishna Iyer, Suddhanandha Bharathi, Purandaradasar, and finally concluding with the Thillana composed by her mother and guru Lalitha Sivakumar.

3 hours 40 minutes is too good. Nithyasree composing kritis ?

Nice to see a good concert in your review. I somehow feel she has lost her "voice" which was there 4-5 years before. Recently I attended "Partiotic songs" concert (45 min) duration after a book release at Vani mahAl. It was not so good.
