Uday,
You are given 30 minutes time for unveiling the new instrument . I am pretty sure for visually unveiling 30 seconds will do . I do know you have a capacity to talk like siddhartha basu of anthakalathu quiz time and wrap up your aural unveiling which needs your minimal time to talk and also to demonstrate the instrument . You also need time to set the instrument .
I have seen posts from bangalore forumites like HNBhagavan where they say Usually from chennai the same few artists are only invited to bangalore - it looks you have done something impossible .Best wishes on your udayan express journey- you achieved some thing remarkable . Time for really talking as fast as siddhartha basu - in rapid fire mode.
Uday,
As I said before, you will be amidst people who are educated, well informed about classical music, and well versed in English.
Technical concepts should be de-jargonised.
Positive comparisons with wind and string instruments will set the tone.
Please comment about:
1. Tuning
2. Blowing ease
3. Scale and range
4. Impact of electronic amplification and hall acoustics.
5. How it combines with accompaniment
6. Transportability
7. Product distribution strategy
8. Any maestros signed up to try the instrument.
9. Your own journey so far and ahead.
10. Your gurus
