I attended the violin duet concert of M. Lalitha and M. Nandini at Brahma Gana Sabha today. They were many Semmangudi specials today (Heard they were his disciples and learnt from the doyen for many years).

Here is their concert list
Evaribhodana - Abohi - Adhi
The purvanga of the Varnam was in 4 speeds while was the uttaranga was awesome - tisram and the upper speed of tisram which was a speciality. (Usually the chatusram and its second speed is played but this was different today ---Hats off to the sisters).

Both Shanmugapriya and Karaharapriya had the unmistakable stamp of Semmangudi.
