Rasaanveshanam enters its third year as a dedicated group of classical music enthusiasts who enjoy and share unique musical experiences in a non-sabha, non-commercial, setting, conducive to true classicism.

In the next concert, we feature the finest of classicism of -

Sri O S Thyagarajan, vocal - accompanied by
Sri Vittal Rangan on violin, and
Sri B C Manjunath on mridangam.

On 7th May 2016 Saturday between 05 to 08 pm

Venue : Pranava Fine Arts (Residence of Mr Thiagarajan Venkatesan), villa no.37A, SJR Eastwood, Harlur road, Off Sarjapur Road, Bangalore 560 102.

Sri OST is a well-known senior musician with a distinguished lineage, and tutelage under his father Sangeetha Bhushanam O. V. Subrahmanyam, Sangeetha Kalanidhi T. M. Thyagarajan and Padma Bhushan Lalgudi Jayaraman. He is known for his deep classicism and evocative presentation of time-honoured compositions of the Trinity.

In this concert, he will be accompanied by Vid. Vittal Rangan, a young and extremely talented violinist from Bangalore. He ia a disciple of Vid. Kanyakumari and performs often with top-class vocalists.

On the mridangam will be Vid. B. C. Manjunath, another young vidwan from Bangalore. He is a student of his father Vid.B.K.Chandramouli and the doyen, Sangeetha Kalanidhi T. K. Moorthy.

Rasaanveshanam invites all rasikas to this concert. Our house concerts feature great talent and are held in an ambiance whichmusicians appreciate very much. We share all costs equally among members and the attendees are all invitees.
