He gained the name Patnam .
Dr.B.M Sundaram got many information about PSI through Mysore Vasudevachariar
one of the prime Disciple of PSI.
After this Bangalore S.Shanker rendered PSI krithi in his powerful & melodious voice.
(I wonder why Chennai shaba’s neglect such a nice vocalist)

You are preaching to the choir on this forum about Sri. Shankar...we are all unanimous in our belief that he is a fantastic singer (I remember my intoduction to Sri. Shankar's music, by whom else but our Kji - SringapurAdhIshwari - his name always evokes that melody for me)...Must have been a perfect concert with the combination of his melody and clear diction.
