Smt. Kiranavali's concert here went off very well. She was requested to give a brief description of each composition, composer, etc. She did an exemplary job in her oration and presentation for which she was greatly applauded by the audience. She made the program interactive and tried to honor most of the requests.
She started the concert with a brief alapana for the Charukeshi Varnam.
Bhavanuta in Mohanam was sung with a nice alapana and exciting kalpana swarams.
Her rendition of Poorvikalyani and RTP in Shanmukhapriya was phenomenal.
The Pallavi line chosen for the RTP was ' Sharavanabhava Guhane Thirumaal Marugane '
Sri. Prasad's rendition of Shanmukhapriya on the violin was outstanding.
Dwijavanthi was rendered soulfully.
Some of the tukkadas which followed were compositions on Lord Sri Krishna in different languages as requested by the organizers.
Smt. Kiranavali was well supported by the accompanying artists Sri. Ramsriram on the mridangam and Sri. Mantrarathnam Prasad on the violin.
