A rainy evening, slow-moving traffic and a last-minute plan to listen to
Ramakrishnan Murthy did not stop me from reaching the venue though we entered in
post-main. H N Kalakshetra of National College as mentioned in The Hindu was quite
another city to some one travelling 30 kms away from the place. Blame it on the
rains, the concert had only a handful of art lovers, and I was fortunate to be
there. Below is the incomplete list; if anyone who attended it, can complete it,
would be grateful.

Having heard his soulful concert at the Coimbatore Rama navami series, I was
equally delighted with this one as well. Blissful, involved and pure-sowkyam
laden as always, he was a pleasure to listen to the songs, post-tani.

He started with Ethavunara (sang swarams for it), alapana in Hindolam followed by Samaja varagamana, vazhi maraithrirukkuthe in Nattaikurinji, Gitarthamu in Suruuti, after a short and sweet thani I left.
