So true!!
Starting at 32:25 when DKJ does his round of swarams in chatusram mEl kalam.. the ending at 32:55 involves doing a mEl kAlam 8 in place of 4 offset - which is in tiSram - but since that is 8 it gives a flavor of layering a catuSram using tiSra nadai - for which he gets an applause. The audience probably could feel this even if all of them might not have understood the intricacies of it!!

The choice of the rAgam jaganmohini which has vIra rasam - because of the force in gmp , and more emphatically in snp and even more with pmg matches the words anjEl!! - something that may not be available in mayamAlava gowlai!
