My guess was based on the phrases between 32 to 37 secs in the alapana. These I think (my wife Sujana, a vanika agrees) are typical of his style.

Saree, sorry, Sorry, I didn't know the conbect between the Matham and the silk drapery.
I wanted to tease, in the true spirit of how instrumentalists overcome distinctions between saree and veshti etc.
