The programme started at 10 10 Hrs with 20 Rasikas.
Dr Sundar welcomed the gathering and introduced the Artiste.
Shri Lokanatha sharma is the prime disciple of Shri Chittoor Subramaniapillai.

Some of the interesting points are listed below.
It is not pleasing to talk about music and anything spoken will be of academic interest only and besides such talks will lead to controversies .
The concept of this Nadayoga started on 2nd June 2012 in the same venue when he sang few songs on Sriman Chittoor' birthday. On that day after listening his performance one Rasika complimented him by sending an E mail at late night to the organizers mentioning that the vocalist gave an impression of meditation. This inspired and prompted him to further concentrate on this aspect.
Mokshamu kalatha Saramathi Dem
Telugu has 56 aksharas, English 26. But music has only seven alphabets
The title Nadabrahmam only suits St T
Nadha thanumanisam
Nadha surasa , Sobillu sapthaswara. Dem
Singer should understand the text first.
Music is not for entertainment only . It is purely for Devotion.
Sangeetha Gnanamu Dem
If swarasthams are sustained it increases the breathing capacity.
As explained by Prof S R J there is no Arohanam and Avarohanam. It is known as Murchanai.
H/M a raga he delineated mentioning that sruthi and swarasuddam is the main motto for the H/M singers.
Present day music is sangathi oriented and Mirudhangam oriented.
Few compositions are totally changed in structure.
His guru used to mention that rasikas expect ' Vivaharams ' which is not a pure music. As he was not having sweet saareeram he resorted to some pattern of singing which he did not want his disciple to follow.
Music is nothing but delivering sound. Stalwarts were doing Nadopasana
Vocalist should know the lyrics well duly understanding the feelings of the composers.
Vasudevayeni Kalyani Dem in a particular style and again with different pattern deviating from the original.
He got the license from his Guru to change the conventional patantharam learnt from him.
Thulasi Jagajani Saveri he sang with a different style
Few kritis are to be started from Anupallavi to get the full beauty.
Balakanakamaya Atana Dem
Kaa vaa vaa Varali
Rama nannu brovara
Nithi chala sukama with a different patantharam he sang
Understanding sahithya and singing with devotion will take the musician and rasika to a different level.
Earlier Stalwarts were singing for their personal satisfaction and in the present scenario it is different and only for public appreciation creating chaos.
Theradeeyaka raadha Gowlipanthu Dem on his own way
Dunmaarga chara should be started from anupallavi
He has his own views of St T 's Pancharathna keerthanai and Goshti Ghanam
Satheenjane will not convey full meaning if it is sung straight. Should be started with Bodhinjane sanmaargamu
Demo of this song.
Bhavam , Artham and Feeling must be understood before handling a kriti
Sangathis are in the cutcheri graph only.
His Guru advised him if he has interest [ Sabalam ] to sing swaram can venture few in sarvalagu.
Niraval must be there in all songs.
He has composed a song with his parents name and his Guru Ragam ?
Krishna nee begane baro in Brindamma style / T Viswanathan
Her suruti and Poorvikalyani were excellent. He Dem her style on these two ragas.
Thirupampuram Swaminatha pillai used like his way of singing and blessed him .
H/M Demo
My observation
The entire session was in English and Tamil. He did not refer any script. He did his best. Vidwan Sri Ram was present. He wanted a separate Lec Dem exclusively on Thyagarja Kritis. The general feeling is no musicians are interested/ attending such Lec Dem may be because of their preoccupation and preparation. Corrections are invited.

Very interesting review; also the points discussed.
Can you explain how the presented version differed from the present version of the songs mentioned?
Was the programme recorded?

Shri bhakthim dehi,
As for as I understood the version he sang with less sangathis with kalapramanam as composed by the St. Both his Guru and himself are not convinced with too many sangathis with different kalapramanams. In his opinion Brindamma's style is as per the composers imagination.
The entire programme is documented with video recording. Since Dr sundar and Arkay organizers are forumites you may contact for further details.
