With MSS evergreens sprinkled everywhere, the artiste brushed off her voice issues – and presented a decent delivery with usual flair and brighas to a full house – the largest crowd that Dallas has seen recently. She added good amount of verve to her renditions to compensate. I should say her voice was in a better shape than what I would expect these days of her.
Her assiduous cultivation of rasika base during her prime is still getting her committed rasikas to attend - something commendable.
NanupAlimpa swarams had good math rounds – with a caturASra tiSram slipped in between.
Vaidyanathan restricted the length of his tani rounds to give Morsing more time – and Raman displayed all the different sound effects one by one to a cross beat tiSra nadai.
A nice tribute to the memory of MSS.

Did not make it, unfortunately. I was in the middle of a move which went way beyond what I planned for. A facebook friend and a member here ( you know who you are! ) did a FB live broadcast of Bhavayami Gopala. I put down the heavy stuff I was carrying, took a break and watched it. That sounded very nice.

Looks like I was addressing Yashoda ( I guess that is not the exact Sanskrit to do thatkvchellappa wrote:"Bhavayami Gopala balam"
If the Lord had any grace he would come and restore my version of the line - just like he did for Jayadeva in Gita Govindam
Again thanks all for the corrections.
