In a few days from now (Sep 16th 2016), Bharat Ratna M S Subbulakshmi would have completed 100 years and stepped into the 101st year.
It gives me great pleasure to inform you all that the "Suswaralakshmi Foundation for Classical Music and Performing Arts" is celebrating the birth centenary of MSS in a Grand Function at the Music Academy - Chennai on Sep 16th 2016. (5.30 pm onwards)
Sri Gopalkrishna Gandhi, Sri N Murali, Cleveland Sri V V Sundaram and Smt Gowri Ramnarayan will speak on this occasion.
Living Legends, Vidwan Dr T K Murthy and Vidwan Sri V V Subrahmanyam will be honoured on this occasion with the “SUSWARALAKSHMI SUBBULAKSHMI LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD”
There is an elaborate picture exhibition on MSS and a special documentary being featured on that Special Day.
