I think it has got to do with original recording's 'track speed' .

Truly amazing.Any idea about the year?
His voice was said to be a blend of Madurai Pushpavanam & S.G.Kittappa those days.I experienced that.

I do not remember the exact year. I attended this concert in the Navarathri Mandapam. Electric. The year must be around 85. Equally brilliant concert is his Sudhasaveri Main concert in the same period.

i think it was 1982 or so. this was just after PMI passed away if i am not wrong

Then it must be 1981. For 1982, he sang Bhairavi as main and I was not there in TVM in 1982.
