This was a concert of Vishnudev Namboodiri, Rahul, Trivandrum Balaji & N.Guruprasad.

Vishnu has a great and clear voice and I found his alapanas very good - lots of sowkyam. Rahul was very good today & the percussion department was terrific.

He sang Sari evvaramma for main. Paraloka sadhaname (Poorvikalyani) was submain.

I thought it was on Parivadini because I thought I recognized their cam at the hall. May be I was mistaken,

Unfortunately not, I've just checked again :/ Might have to make do with one of his [Vishnudev's] old ones available in YT.

In Guruvayur, as I was approaching the Siva temple, I heard a stunning Rithigowla. I was attracted and found out that it was Vishnudev, who had just then got the first prize in a TV contest and so could recognise him. This happened five years ago.
