Bale Bale. Fantastic concert. Just found by asking Gossiper Google he's a student of Suguna Mami, it shows, nice and pristine rendetion of krithis. Could have left him to finish one more song, but no, two hours limit I suppose. Mannarkoil Balaji was brilliant all through, keep an ear for the few chapus he plays at the charana / end of lambodaram.

I attended this concert from Sree Sukra Bhagavantham. Excellent concert. Sree Sukra is rarely heard in concerts. Being student of SV, authentic patantharam and leisurely exploration. Two alapanas Kalyani and Bhairavi- very elaborate nearly 15 minutes each and were neatly executed in all the sthayis. I should listen to more of his concerts this season.

Quite a brilliant young man. Heard him at the academy mini hall where he presented Neerajakshi Kamakshi with an alapana for Hindolam appropriate for the kriti. Some improved voice modulation will serve him well.
