Observations

1. Melody start to finish. Nothing out of place or extraneous.

2. The RTP included words from popular kritis which were featured in the ragamalika

3. When mini was offered, JV graciously asked her to sing some more ragamalika swaras and we got to hear Sindhubhairavi and Dwijavanti.

4. Accompaniment was top class.

Did something interesting during the RTP. The eduppu was on the little finger to start with. For the next speed (tisram?) up to the arudhi, she started from the ring finger. For the next speed she started from the middle finger. The chosen talam probably accommodated this.

I believe this concert was on 26 Dec - can you please fix title accordingly

I had to choose between this concert and Sruthisagar/Keerthana, and chose the latter of course. Wish I could have attended both! A Kanada RTP sounds like a treat too! Also glad JV asked for more ragamalika swaras - imho, artists should showcase more ragas during this segment rather than stopping at 2 or 3.
