kalyani varnam is neeve nera namminaanu jagadamba in kanda jaati jampa taalam (?). Need help to identify composer. bhairavi keerthana of muthuswami dikshitar is quite rare, and gives different bhairavi experience... there was a neraval too ! pantuvarali following that was very refreshing and very different from regular ones what we get to hear these days and a rare mysore vasudevacharya composition to follow. There was a thanam (unmetered) also preceeding navarathri keerthana...there a fine graha bedam to kalyani during alapana, nicely reproduced by M.R. Gopinath during violin return.

There were several sparks in neraval and swaras, with kanakkus and nice patterns.

What an amazing lady. I've seen her sing in varying states of health.

When she is in poor health, she does not let it stop her. When she is in good health her strength is amazing.

I'm happy to see in good health and great voice at this time
