TV Telecast of MMU (Vijay TV) & MU (Jaya TV)

Does anyone know when the TV telecast of the margazhi utsavam concerts is starting? I guess it should be this week, both on Vijay TV & Jaya TV? Btw, Podigai has been telecasting some good carnatic concerts (the likes of aruna sairam, sowmya, ranjani gayathri etc) at night which is quite a feast.

When concerts are broadcast over Podhigai TV?

I could not get it in the Podhigai TV website.

They are at midnight (from say 1 AM to 5.30 AM, mostly same thing repeated over and over.
New concerts (relatively) may be around 1AM on Thursdays and Fridays. AIR Chennai must be relaying several sabha concerts live or recorded in parts.

Like last yr, it appears Jaya TV broadcasts 8:00 -9:00 am one part and the second part ( with some repeats sometimes) during 5:00-6:00 pm. ( This is what I observed at Toronto, Canada). Yesterday it was Neyveli. Today Malladi Bros with their father.

For information of those who are not able to attend Chennai Isai Vizha, AIR Chennai is broadcasting excerpts from concerts today onwards from 0845hrs onwards daily. May kindly note

Was Abhishek's concert telecast this morning at 6.30am? At least I couldnt catch it on Star Vijay's Europe telecast.. Is there any repeat telecast in the evenings?

For the benefit of overseas rasikas, I have informed the MMU team (subhasri & team) that the programme is not being telecast in any location outside India. Basically, Star Vijay International is not telecasting the concerts. This is such a wasted opportunity. The MMU team has agreed to look into this ASAP, Hope it gets fixed soon.

Vijay seems to be showing MMU in Canada at : 4-4:30 am + 5 - 5:30pm .

USA - ET 5 PM
Singapore: SGT 5 PM & Rpt SGT 0600 AM.
Africa and Europe: CAT / CET 5 PM.
United Kingdom: BST 4 PM -Mon- Fri
Malaysia - started on Sat 24th Dec at 06.30 AM - Mon- Sun.

Btw myself and Maximum Media originally conceived MMU MARGAZHI MAHA UTSAVAM. There is only one by that brand and that is on star vijay. I have no idea about Jaya tv. Thanks.

We are airing 47 mts daily sir.
The concerts as aired will be available online on out site later. http: is //www.ragamalikatv.com
Some artistes do not agree to have the full concert online. Pl do follow our page on fave book. We will keep u posted about all this. As of now, the online viewing wl be available after 14 th Ian, after all telecast is over.

ATN Vijay shows MMU in Canada for half an hour only : 4-4:30 am + 5 - 5:30pm . ( The evening broadcast is repeated the next day morning.)
