Would someone be kind enough to indicate the ragas in this song by Nityasree? The one between kApi and Sindhubhairavi is the one that is giving me problems identifying. Thanks.

Yamunakalyani
Nadanamakriya
Hindustani Kapi
Chakravaka
Sindhu Bhairavi
Remember the lower half of scale is common between MMG and Chakravaka.

Sachi, the detection circuitry fired in my brain for all the ragas except one. Until I read your list, I could not slot it as Chakravaka. Thanks.

Re: Ragas in madhava pancakam
ah.. yes..
The point here is, just like Lakshman felt, I did not get the overall Chakravaka signature there. That is probably due to my limited concept of chakravaka but it looks like one does need to get down to note identification to map it to the raga. True?

VKM,
Yes, my guess of Chakaravaka was based on the major portion of those lines, the first few notes don't give the raga picture. I then mapped the scale.
Although it is a song attributed to OVK, the ragas don't seem set by him. OSA sings in a different tune.
