Should this line "pattapagalu onTi paDina samayamuna paiTalO kaivEsenE" be as "pattapagalu onTi paDina samayamuna paiTalO chaivEsenE". This means He put his hand inside my blouse.
Kai in Tamil and Chai in Telugu mean hand. This line is as vulgar as the Hindi film song 'chOlikE pIchE kyA hai. Were jAvaLis, padams and even varams were composed with vulgar words to be used by court/temple dancers (dEvadAsis) and did the music trinity salvage carnatic music from these composers of porn?

The lyrics posted are directly transliterated from the book mentioned in my earlier post.

The word*kElu* is a telugu word for hands.

Many keertanas of Sri Annamacarya

contain this word.

IT is ceyi cEyi or jEyi in telugu for
hands.

chai does not mean hand in telugu.
