S-P, I find these particularly hard to translate. But from what I understand, when Sri Reddiar composed these kAvaDis to keep the spirits of his patron up during the latter's long and arduous pilgrimage to the various paDai vIDus of muruga, he strung them together to tell the story of a nAyaki who falls in love with muruga, runs away with him and marries him in secret, before coming back home.
In this, the lovelorn nAyaki is explaining her plight to her friend/sakhi/pAngi. I have interpretted (just the two commonly sung caraNams)most of this contextually. Corrections and comments welcome...
caraNam 1
manju nigar kuntaLa minnE shata taLangaL vikasitam shei
vArisAdanattil vAzh ponnE sheyya vannamE oLir shonnamE naDai
annamE iDai pinnamE pera vandadana [1] pAra vanciyE

Oh lady (vanjiyE) with quicksilver (pAra) grace, whose complexion glows (oLir) like gold (SonnamE), whose gait (naDai) is as graceful as a swan's (annamE), and whose slender waist (iDai) sways sinuously (pinnamE), and whose braid/hair (kuntaLam) shines (minnE) lustrously like (nigar) a beatiful dark jewel (manju), who has come here (vandadana) to obtain (pera) the grace of that precious damsel (ponnE) [1] who lives (vAzh) in a full blown (vikasitam Sei), red (Seyya)-hued (vaNNamE) lotus (vArijAdanattil) that is replendent with 100 (Sata) petals (taLangal/daLangaL)! please listen (kEL) to the words (vArttaiyai) I utter (uraikkum) while in the grips of excessive (ati) affection (viruppattuDan), and as my desire (ASai) overflows (minjiyE).

As he praised (nayandu) me, I found myself helplessly (nenjazhindu) [2] intoxicated (mayangavE) and uniting with (puNar) [3] him. Oh, even now, the thoughts (ninaivu koNDE) of the six-faced (Arumu(g)kha), spear-weilding one (vElavanaiyE) are causing my head/mind (mati) to spin (maruNDE) [4], what (enna) a problem (vinayE) without solace (Arudillai) this is!

Thanks Rajani for the full translation -- one question : why does the Nayika take such pains to address the sakhi in such opulent terms as (one resembling) Lakshmi, ...further describing her gait, her slenderness, her physical beauty...etc......when the message of her own tale as paramour of Murugan is the crux of the matter ?

Shouldn't the last line be "sevvidazh ( sivappu idazh) vAyum URumE (vallinum Ru) "? I do appreciate the diffficulty in transliterating tamizh words. I find Sh is often misused in place of S. Sh is to be used only when sanskrit Sh sound occurs in the tamizh word although there is no such letter in tamizh. Similarly there is a lot of confusion between vallinum and mellinum r, l, in transliteration. Just an observation.
