This was exactly Acharyanet's motive in conducting The Carnatic Deontic Event on May 14th. The idea was to put students at ease and allow them to perform in a non-competing healthy environment in front of a panel of esteemed gurus and musicians who would give them feedback not only on ways to improve but by also highlighting the special qualities that the students already possessed.
The event was successfully conducted online with the active participation of students from all over the world, percussionists, instrumentalists and vocalists in the front of esteemed gurus, Sangita Kalanidhi Dr T.V Gopalakrishnan, Sangeet Samrat Chitravina N Ravikiran and Lalgudi Smt Vijayalakshmi. This was the first time that such an event was conducted on a global level online with over 50 participants being present at the same time and the response was heartening to both students and gurus who could interact with each other beyond boundaries of space and geography!
Acharyanet would like to share the recording of this event so that others may also benefit from the valuable tips and feedback given by the masters in music.
