Hello Lakmanji,
Can you tell me the composer of the song "MURUGANAIPPOL ORU KARUNAI ULLA DEIVAM IRUNDITA KANUDAL" I heard this song sung by DKP. I cannot find any information on the web.

I found out that the composer of this song is Guhan (the one who also composed kandan karuNai puriyum vaDivEl).

That was my guess! Guhan mAma. An unforgettable character (now that we are in the RD mood).
His creativity and kindness is etched in my memory (and I knew him only as a child...).

arasi: I have been trying to get hold of his songs for a long time. Dr.S.Ramanathan published a book of his songs titled Guhan Krithis but I have not been able to locate a copy of this book anywhere..

Yes I have contacted Geetha as well as her sister Banumathy. Both said they don't have a copy of this book. Dr Gowry Kuppuswamy has referred to this book in her publication Index of Songs in South Indian Music.
The publisher is Gayathri Publications in Chennai. Perhaps one of the rasikas in Chennai can be kind enough to inquire about this. I do have different addresses for different Gayathri Publications: 6/20 Amma Teresa St., Chennai (phone 9087716184), 19/47 Plot No.1, Moosa St., T,Nagar, 26/B Vedachala Gardens Mantheveli, Chennai.
