Here is my attempt (using IAST)

nītihatāhita -One who is the enemy of those who break the code of ethics
pālaya mām saroruhanābha - protect me, oh the One with the lotus in the navel,
ghanābha - with the hue of a rain cloud,
madaibhagate - with the gait of an elephant in rut,
dhṛtaveda - who carried the Vedas (Matsyāvatāra)
manojñatano - with an attractive form,
kṛpayā ava mām suhasa - kindly protect me, Oh one with a smiling face



pāta pāṇḍava yosha - the one who saved the wife of the Pandavas,
pāpajāla hara - the one who dispels the maze/cage of sins,
cāruphāla - with a beautiful forehead,
nava hema cela dhara- wearing a lovely golden garb,
gopabāla jaya - Oh Cowherd boy, glory to you!


rāghava mām pālaya - Oh Rama, please take care of me,
ripujita - conquerer of enemies,
madana - lovely like Manmatha,
suguṇa sadana - the storehouse of virtues,
vimala radana - with spotless teeth,
dayārṇava - the ocean of mercy,


rīṇa pāpa - the remover of sins,
bahu ghora tāpa hara - the remover of very terrible sufferings,

You have protected (pAta) the lady of Pandavas - Panchali (pANDava yOSha) by destroying/removing the evil/injustice/tortures inflicted upon her (pApa jAla hara)
Hail to (jaya) the Lord with beautiful (cAru) forehead (phAla), the one who adorn (dhara) garments (cEla) shining like new gold (navahEma), the protector of cow-herders (gOpa pAla).

Charanam:
Oh Raghava! Please protect me (mAm pAlaya). Your form (rUpa) excels (jita) that of the Cupid/Kama Deva (madana), you are the abode of virtues (suguNasadana), you have beautiful spotless (vimala) teeth (radana), you are ocean (aRNava) of mercy (dayA), you vanish/destroy (rINa) the sins (pApa), you remove (hara) various (bahu) henious (ghOra) sufferings (tApa), you are worshipped by Mother Earth (bhUmijApa), you are the protector of celestials (sura pAlaka) and you are the absolute (parama).

Note: I am not sure the correct translation for 'suhasa'. ('suhAsa' would mean the one with a beautiful smile).

I think it is madaibha.
suhasa seems a poetic truncation of suhasana.

It is given as 'MadEbha' in the Swathi Thirunal website (http://www.swathithirunal.in/htmlfile/185.htm <Sahitya given in Malayalam>) as well as in Sri T.K.Govinda Rao's book <Sahitya given in English and Devanagari>.

mada+ibha.
aibha means elephantine, adjective.
So both work here. We can stay with madebha as per the books.

'bhUmija' is sIta, daughter of bhUmi dEvi; literally meaning - born out of (ja) earth (bhUmi)
But 'bhUmijApa' is bhUmi + jApa.
'japa ' means praying or worshipping, therefore 'bhUmijApa' would mean the one who is worshipped by bhUmi dEvi, refering to varAha avatara of Lord Vishnu (as Sachi Sir has mentioned earlier) where Vishnu takes the boar form to rescue bhUmi dEvi from demon Hiranyaksha.

the spouse (pa) of the daughter of the earth (bhUmijA)

pa means protector. Not spouse.
In olden days, the husband (also literally means the same ) was the one protecting the wife. So bhūmijāpa can be taken as Rama=Sita's husband.
