An excellent team work was at display at Music Academy and it was a wholesome treat that a Rasika can ask for. Sudha' rendering of Ramachandro Rakshatu mam in Sriranjani by Dikshitar and gana naya desika in Rishabhabapriya by Koteeswara Iyer were soulful. Ragam, tanam Pallavi in four ragas was intelligently constructed out of the first word of krutis which have been favourites of Sudha Viz, Narayana in Sudddha Danyasi, Om Namo narayana in Karnaranjani, Sri Satyanarayana(m) in Subhapantuvarali and Anudinamu gavumayya and set in Misrajampai kanda nadai. The rendition gave a kaleidoscopic effect and will linger on rasika's ears for a long time. Charumathi Raghuraman can be considered a prodigy and solo version in rendering ragas and her replies in Swaras were remarkable. Sudha's appreciative gestures during the concert stand testimony to the superb rendering by Charumathi. No less is the contribution by the stalwarts - Patr. Satish kumar and Raman - in making the concert a great success
