My heart FELT condolences to the demise Sri Mahadevappa, who was a violinist.
Just like late Sri Parur Sundaram Iyer, Sri Mahadevappa trained their two sons Sri MYSORE Nagaraj and MYSORE Manjunath trained them in the VIOLIN playing.
I was fortunate in visiting their home along with my son KARTHIK and his daughters and my grand DAUGHTER Srinidhi a few years back.
HE blessed my granddaughters after listening to their singing.

Sri Mahadevappa has shown how violinists can be groomed in Mysore and shine on the world stage without shifting base.

The violin ensemble presented by Vid. Manjunath revealed his calibre as a director, too.

I have heard their accompaniment with varying degrees of melody and proficiency. Their hot demand these days is for their aggressive violin duets.

The next generation of violinists from the family is already on the performing circuit.

May the grand-sire's memory live on.
