Thank you...but still, elephant-faced calf-elephant seems like over kill, but makes poetic sense, for the words run off the tongue perfectly, and don't seem 'contrived'.

Also the two meanings of marumagan/marugan will not apply to Ganesha. Only nephew. In case of Murugan both would be true.
