//what does this line actually mean ?

Re: need identification of song
Some things I do know:
//are bharaNi, kaLambagam, ulaa any old musical forms of tamizh-isai?
These are types of literary works. I don't think they are musical forms. They come under the category called "Prabandham" (which just means Opus) or "siRRilakkiam" ( short literary works). It is kalambagam, not kaLambagam
"*eeRuketta* *ethirmarai* *peyar* *echcham*" is just a complicated term for a very simple grammatical form, of negative(ethirmarai) adjectival phrases, wherein the last letter (eeru) of the word is dropped(ketta = lost)
Please note my corrections in every word.
Eg : thOnRA thuNai instead of thOnRAdha thuNai ( means a friend who is invisible, like God)
//what does this line actually mean ?
I think she asks him if he can compose poetry or does he at least does he know his grammar well.
