My attempt:

bhaja mAnasa vighnEshvaram anisham = Oh mind! (mAnasa) always (aniSham) sing praises (bhaja) of vighnEShvara - remover of obstacles

bhaja pUrvArpaNa sadana gaNESham = sing praises of (bhaja) of gaNESha - Lord of the groups of gods Who resides at pazhavangADi (pUrvArpaNam)

gaja vadanam = having the face of an elephant
duritaugha vinAsham = One who eradicates wdespread sinful acts

gadashAmanam = One Who directs the course (i.e. probably one that prevents devotees from straying from faith)???

shata sUrya nikAsham = resplendent like a 100 suns

varadam = One who confers boons
jana sharaNam = the refuge of man
bhayaharaNam = dispels fear
vara muni mAnasa bhAva viharaNam = One who is the moods in the minds of the best of munis???

vara phala rasanaratam bhavataraNam = Who offers the best of boons in the seas of human life

vana tulasIdala pUjita caraNam = Thy feet(caraNam) worshipped (pUjita)with vanatulasi (Ocimum basilicum ? got this from- http://www.vedicmedicalhall.com/singlep ... &mW=V&mf=s)

tulasIdala is also the mudra of the composer

P.S. Could someone please explain gaNapati's aversion towards tuLasi?
