Audio and Notation for dayAvati Thillana

Post by shobana »

Namaskaram,
I'm (desperately) looking for audio and notation for dayAvati Thillana.

I found the following lyrics in an old 2008 thread (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6643&p=352753&hilit ... hi#p352753), however the audio links provided in that thread isn't working for me. PLEASE help.

Also looking at the charanam,

tAmarasa daLAya tAkSa sukumAra rAmacandranuta mukhajita pUrNacandra

1) Is that daLAya or daYALa? If it is daLAya, what does it mean?
2) What does tAkSa mean?

Thank you,
Shobana

The description is even more picturesque - tAmarasa = lotus; daLa = petal; Ayata = long; aksha = eyed

One with lotus petal-like elongated eyes....
