A lec dem assisted with two disciples started exactly by 10 30 hrs. There were 60 Rasikas mostly with young students.
Some of the interesting points noted are given below.

sankarabharanam is the Raga chosen.
Akshaya Linga Vibo Demo
While singing the Raga, root should not be forgotten. Structural aspect should be in mind. The structure of the Raga should be understood first in detail. In western instrument the white keys symbolise Sankarabaranam with out Gamakam.
Garudawani cannot be sung for a longer period elaborately.
Every raga has a strong note.
Varnam in 3 kalams was a demo by the disciples.
During sangathi strict discipline should be followed.
Bagu Mira by Vinai Kuppaiyar was sung by all the Rasikas closely following
Seetha Rajan referring with a copy of lyrics with notes distributed to every one.
Swaram should be sung with the structural beauty of Raga and not vice versa. Sentiment of sahithyam should be maintained always.
Eivaragu in Desathi was taken up for Demo.
Dakshinamoorthe Demo
Sakthi . Budhdhi and Rakthi are the three blending factors of a Krithi.
Thana Varnam . Demo with Niraval.
Thillana and Padham . Demo.

In the Question Answer session for a doubt of selecting lines for Niraval one should be very careful and the meaning or Pada [w/o chethanam ]should be taken care. This is quite common for Dance performance.
The 90 mints programme was well appreciated by teachers who were in large numbers. In gereneral the event was quite interesting.
The Lec Dem continues on 7 07 2019 also mainly touching Harikambodhi, Kambodhi and Kamaz
