Hi.
I haven't been able to find the lyrics of this song through google. Would anyone here be able to help me out? The song is
yaarenru (or aarenru?) raaghavanai by composer Arunachala Kavi.

Some corrections based of Sri KVN's rendition - he only renders C2; This is a lovely song from rAmanATakam, where lakshmaN tries to reassure sItA that all is well with rAma when the latter goes in search of the illusory golden deer.

Here is my take on the questionable words:

idu is right; adu and adai are also right (attu and attai do not make sense. They must be printer's devil).

As for "en" vs "un" I go with "en" since Lakshmanan is lamenting here whether he should let his mind suffer (nOmO) as a result of "peN budhdhi"

Also "vasaiyODokkumE" seems right (tantamount to rebuke)

Also "vEdaiyar" appears right. It probably means "learned" sItA. I won't bet my ranch on that meaning. But it refers to sItA for sure.

As for getting words from the musician's rendering one must be careful since there may be errors in their copied text and/or they seem to gloss over certain words.

vasaiyODokkumO?
kAdaNDai=near the ear--his stretching the nAN close to his ears (the tensed bow?)

By the way, I have heard it only in yadukula kAmbOdi (from both ariyakkuDi and KVN)

attai, ittai are colloquial versions of adai, idai. Even mANikka vAsagar has used these versions in tiruvAsagam. It gives a more rustic flavour and is perfectly fitting in this context.

vasaiyODokkumE seems a better fit than vasaiyODokkumO because the first word indicates affirmation while the second one points to (doubtful) interrogation. Lakshmanan is somewhat agitated here upon hearing that sitA would even begin to doubt the valor of Rama. Hence he equates her uttering to (command Lakshmanan to go after Rama) a rebuke.
