Sounds like Jesudas to me.
"tan iDam" can be taken as "his left side". valam vs iDam. . This has more credence because it is very specific that pArvati occupies Sivan's left half of the body. Ganga is on his head and pArvati on his left side.
A great description of Kamban comes to mind:

The word 'sumandavan' - sumattal looks odd - Is it something to do with 'sati'?umaiyai tanniDam sumandavan
If so, 'tanniDam' may not be correct. Is it 'tOlinil' - on the shoulders?

If I were a betting man, I would say that this is certainly a track from a movie - probably from the 1980s, if I had to guess. The orchestra, the sound of ankle bells, and the pace of the song, all suggest that this is indeed a movie song...it talks about the pittukku maNsumanda episode, also about mInAkSI sundarESwarar wedding and finally about SrI kAlahastISwara as well...

Although it is written as "tanniDam" when you split it it becomes "tan iDam" i.e., his left side.
Please see my post above. "sumattal" has different shades of the general meaning "carry a burden". If it is a weight you carry it is really a burden. There is a famous quote in a pamphlet by the Boystown in Texas which says, "He is NOT heavy; he is my Brother" with a picture showing one boy carrying another boy who is invalid. There it is a pleasurable burden one would love to carry.
As for Shiva carrying umA on his left side, even though the term is sumandavan, it does not have the same notation as a burden but umA is an integral part of ShivA. "sumattal" here means "take upon oneself".
If you refer to "kAlait tUkki ninRADum deyvamE" by MArimuttA PiLLai , there the term is "angattil oru peNNai anudinamum tUkki". It really does not mean "carry" or lift in the physical sense but indicates the integrated form.

I have redone the whole thing with changes in the words as I hear the singer enunciate. I am sure that others will chip in if I have made any mistakes, or add clarifications.
piTTukku = for a handful of piTTu (a dry powder consisting of a mixture of rice/lentils, and it forms the staple diet of the poor - can be mixed with stuff like water, buttermilk etc.)
mansumandu = (HE) carried/bore sacks of mud on His back (to help an old woman who did not have any able bodied men in her family to obey the proclamation of the king to build a dam)
gangayai thalai sumandhu Isan = bearing (sumandu) the Ganges (gangA) on his head (talai), the Lord (ISan)

The web tells me that "Pittukku Man Sumanthu" by Yesudas is featured on an album "Ayyan irandu ponpathangale saranam" released by BMG and/or Tarangini.
