Started learning Carnatic music at the early age of 7 and has won many
awards as a child artiste. Post Graduate in Music-Sangeeth Alankar and a
seniormost disciple of Late Sangita Kalanidhi Dr. B. Rajam Iyer. Presently
under the guidance of Smt. Seeetha Narayanan, a renowned musician.
Graded Artist of the All India Radio and A Performing Musician in all the
Main Sabhas during the December Music Season in Chennai and other States
of India.
Travelled US, Canada, UK , etc. and given a lot of concerts and lecture
demonstrations on classical music and its importance. Recently had Lecture
demonstrations in Dalhousie University in the Dept. of Music and Socio
Anthropology.
Committee member /Joint Secretary of few Sabhas and also invited as a Judge
for the Carnatic Music Competitions in India and abroad.
Received many Awards for the exemplary services rendered towards the
cause of Carnatic Classical Music – viz. Dasa Kalamani, Isai Kalaivani, NCA
Excellence Award, Sangettha Kala Shironmani Inspiring Musical Icon, Asthana
Vidhushi, Malibu Temple, Los angles,California, USA.
Imparting training to a lot of students in classical music at all levels and also
She is a Bachelor of Law also besides Masters in Music.
