I am listening to it on my headphones. It is on YT with audio only on the left channel and I had to jump through hoops to get it into both L & R*.

Ramprasad begins the concert with a lot of gravitas and verve - a rare combo. Arjun Kumar is OUTSTANDING. Voice nasality is not an issue here. The entire ensemble is on a high.

Gaula, Mohana, Dhanyasi, Hamsanada (his own tuning of PD Devakinanda Mukunda)....A grand opening to Vasanta... Sri Kamakshi Katakshi...

You should find a way to listen to it in both ears on headphones. The highlight is mridangam.

excellent and very melodious recital. Enjoyed the slow pace of Ramaprasad's singing.

Mridangam support by Arjun Kumar is great.

I wish youngsters follow this example and not singing in fast pace.

In contrast several young talented musicians go the speed way and the biggest example is SID SRIRAM.

H M Smitha has improved by leaps and bounds with vast experience in accompanying young artists like Abhishek Raghuram and even veteran artists.She provided very able and supportive accompaniment to Palghat Ramaprasad.
No dull moment in the concert.

very good observations.

Long back I told HMSmitha that her bowing is her strength. She has very good firmness of grip and bowing "power". That's how she copes with top class vocalists.

Ramprasad is a thinking musician and restores my faith in good vocal music that does not need to resort to gimmicks and vivadi ragas to make an impact.

I am a great admirer of Arjun Kumar and his art of mridangam accompaniment. He is one of the BEST

A totally meditative music sans any melo drama.The accompanists have done a good job -Violin,Mridangam and Ghatam.
