Thank you Sirs. Very likely to be a composition by Chittur Subramanya Pillai. (Even Sangithapriya site errs? )
Surprising.

@Lakshman
ji,
Is it likely that this is still Thyagaraja Kruthi, preserved in Kanchipuram Naina Pillai school ? Was he disciple of Mysore Sadasiva Rao?
-- Can we check for mudra of Thyagaraja in the rendition?

@aaaaabbbbb
Thank you Madam. The Sanskrit lyrics are simple and sweet. More like a slokam.
Not by Thyagaraja. but some rare rendition because of the ragam.
Thank you, once again.

Thank you .
It needs some corrections.
Though a couple of typos have been set right,
caranam requires a couple more.

Re: MAHA GANESAM - THYAGARAJA- LYRICS,TRANSLATIION AND MORE INFORMATION
I have 8 different clips of Somu singing songs with the starting words maha ganesham. The ragas are gopikatilaka, bhavabharana, shuddhadhanyasi, dakshayani and omkaraposhini.
If any of you on rasikas.org can figure out the different songs and match them with the ragas it would be nice.
The song in the above post by Chittur Subramania Pillai is in shuddhadhanyasi.

@Lakshman
JI,
Thank you. Somu was a long-time disciple of Chittoor Pillai. and Chittor Pillai likewise was a long-time disciple of Naina Pilai. I understand that Naina Pillai learned music from a scholar-musician at Walajapet ( not Venkataramana). Most likely, going by the Sanskrit , a composition by that Guru, mis-attributed to Thyagaraja Swami.
