I can find hardly anything at all on the internet save for a few renditions. Here is a great one by the Akkarai sisters on vocal. Sounds so beautiful. It has the beauty of valaji combined with the lovely, sliding R3.
From what I can tell, the Arohanam/avarohanam is:
S R3 G3 P D2 N2 Ś
Ś N2 D2 P G3 R3 S
This would make it a janya of vAgadheeshvari (or perhaps nAsikAbhushani).
More info, background, compositions, etc. of this rAgam would be interesting to learn about.

The rAgA is a janya of mELA 34. Annamacharya has composed a number of songs in amarasindhu. The song that Akkari sisters sing is by their grandfather. Alattur Vijayakumar also has composed in this rAgA.

The composer is actually Alathur Vijayakumar. The lyrics have the vaggeyakara mudra, Kalavardhaka (or a variant). Alathur Vijayakumar is the founder of the record label,, Kalavardhani, which released the album by the Akkarai Sisters.
